Threads of History

This collection is a dialogue between identity, history, and craft. Rooted in heritage, it flows from the vibrant energy of Siargao’s waves—where surfing becomes a metaphor for freedom—to the solemn power of Juan Luna’s Spoliarium, which echoes colonial scars. The journey deepened when the designer received a traditional tattoo from Apo Whang-Od, the last Mambabatok of the Kalinga, whose art carries generations of meaning. That experience—feeling ancestral marks etched on the skin—inspired garments that merge fluidity with permanence, movement with memory. Each piece is a tribute: to the ocean, to resilience, to the inked legacies that shape who we are.
